- Estimate: First I will find out from you the size, scope and requirements of your desired website, including the number of pages, the features, and the services needed. I will then present you with an estimate of cost and time for the project.
- Contract: We will sign a contract, giving your requirements and the price and timeframe for the website design and development.
- Information: I will seek details from you about your company's products, target audience, branding, mission, & philosophy. I will also find out your preferences for appearance, such as colors, style, layout.
- Materials: You will provide me photos, graphics, and wording for use on your site.
- Design: I will present you with a preliminary design of the Home Page. I will then get your feedback and adjust the design until you approve it and sign off on it.
- Development: I will create, test and optimize all the pages of the website, using the approved design and adding your requested graphics, text, and features. You will give me feedback and suggestions all during the process.
- Domain name and host: If you don't have a domain name and a host, I can help you choose and obtain these.
- Move to internet: When you are satisfied, the website will be moved to the internet.
- Final sign-off: You will give final approval and sign off on the project.
NOTE: All web design is done on my test server, so I can proceed immediately even before your web host is set up. If this is a re-design, there will be no interruption in your current site while I'm working on your newly updated site.
